INTERNSHIPS
Inky Hands Print Studio opened it’s doors in Dallas in 2015 as a collaboritive and assessable screen print studio offering open access, classes, internships. In 2018, Inky Hands closed its doors in Dallas and moved to Plymouth, MA to continue as a fine art print studio and gallery dedicated to screen printing as a fine art medium. When moving to Plymouth, Inky Hands began to offer fine art publishing and rotating exhibitions. Since 2018, the studio has continued to foster artists or all ages and all creative backgrounds and career stages through the different programs offered. This year, Inky Hands plans to start offering artist residencies and open call exhibitions alongside its other programs.
The internship program offers opportunities to learn and develop screen printing skills, gaining collaborative experience, meet artists and professionals, learn about contemporary art and gain a perspective for Plymouth’s vibrant community.
Interns are involved in all aspects of maintaining workshop. Interns encounter many artists and professionals, helping to produce new cutting edge artwork that pushes the boundaries of traditional printmaking,
Internships are unpaid and last for one week. Interns are invited to use the studio at the end of the internship in exchange for their donated time.
Typical Duties
Assisting Master Printer, Katharine LiBretto in editioning prints, organizing materials, assisting in classes and events, light administrative tasks and data entry, assisting with exhibition installation, set up and prep for events and general studio maintenance.
Commitment required for one week internship session
Monday-Friday 11-3

Application guidelines
All applicants should have experience in art and an interest in printmaking, Regular attendance and a commitment to the program are required.
